The sisters sure know how to pick the creatives to cooperate with. HAIM’s new music video highlights a new collaboration with the Oscar-nominated director Paul Thomas Anderson – a music video for Night So Long.

One more time, the band decided to create a simple music video for their song, collaborating with the renowned director Paul Thomas Anderson. Filming at The Greek Theater, Los Angeles, the band transitions from playing to an empty stadium during the day to appearing in front of a handful of enthusiastic fans at night.

The collaboration between HAIM and the director of the upcoming film Phantom Thread, nominated for a handful of Oscars this year and known for Boogie Nights, There Will Be Blood, Inherent Vice and Punch-Drunk-Love, came to fruition when the artist discovered that the sister’s parent was his former art teacher.

Paul Thomas Anderson has previously directed a short film Valentine as well as the music video for Little of Your Love with the bandwhich you can watch below.

PTA’s new film Phantom Thread hits the cinemas in the UK this Friday, the 2nd of February 2018.
