Summer Screenings will take place this Saturday and Sunday (4th-5th of August) and followed by an additional weekend filled with films the following week (11th-12th of August). The showings will be family-friendly and, most importantly, completely free – whether you’re planning a family day out or a picnic with a nostalgic film favourite, it’s open to everyone!

This weekend’s line-up includes some of the Disney/Pixar classics as well as a few recent animations, which will be screened on pixel pitch LED screens that are accommodated for outdoor film-watching. See below for show details:

12:00 – The LEGO Movie
14:00 – Finding Nemo
16:00 – Ferdinand
18:00 – Sing

10:30 – The Lion King
12:30 – Finding Dory
14:30 – The Incredibles
16:30 – Trolls

All of the screenings are free to attend and can accommodate up to 750 people. There will be a limited number of beanbags to sit on scattered around the garden, but you can also bring your own picnic blanket – there’ll be enough space for these, too!

Between the screenings, family activities, prize draws and quizzes will keep everyone occupied, too. The local businesses that support the event prepared supporting offers for those who want to grab a bite afterwards. If you want to continue the afternoon at the Michael Jackson exhibition in the National Portrait Gallery, a special offer will also be available.
